U12's win and move closer in the winners bracket

The Roanoke Valley U12 Cal Ripken all-stars opened their 2013 ENC State play by beating the rain and Kinston Lenoir, both in the same game.

RV U12's beat Kinston Lenoir 6-4 in six innings.

Camron Medlin pitched all six innings giving up two hits and three strike outs.

Carson Neal was the big hitter with a 2-4 record at bat.

If the rain holds up and games are on time, Roanoke Valley will take on Holly Springs at Noon Friday.
