Chaloner Middle baseball travels to  Wyatt Middle School

The baseball Chaloner Jackets picked up their sixth win of the season with a thrilling win over Wyatt Middle School.

Cameron Salmon hit a 3 run homer in the top of the 5th inning to give Chaloner a 6 to 5 lead. Salmon also had a double and single with 4 RBI’s. Aaron Jackson had 2 doubles and 1 single with a RBI. Caleb Johnson had 3 singles and 2 RBI’s. Jake Van Dam, Jack Neville, and Carson Neal each had 2 hits and 1 RBI.

Cameron Medlin was the winning pitcher giving up 5 runs and 7 hits while striking out 2. Peyton Jackson got the save by pitching the final 3 innings. Jackson gave up 2 hits and struck out 3 batters.

The Jackets had a total of 20 hits. The Jackets play their next game Thursday April 3rd at William R. Davie Middle School at 4:00 p.m.
