Gaston College Prep (GCP) hosted Henderson College Prep (HCP) Thursday.
In softball action the game went back and forth between the two teams, but in the end mental errors hurt GCP and Henderson earned the win 9-7.
At the plate for GCP: E. Miller 2-2 (2) triples, S. Richardson 1-1, S. Winfield 2-3.
GCP drops to a 4-2 overall record.
