Hoss Cat leads USSSA batting title

Backman/Shoppe/Louisville Sluggers professional USSSA softball player Paul “Hoss Cat” Johnston grabbed the lead for the 2014 Nationwide Conference USSSA batting title this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio by going perfect at the dish.

Johnston attended Roanoke Rapids High, lives at Lake Gaston and is in his third year playing professional softball.

Johnston and the Backman/Shoppe/Louisville Sluggers head to Texas this weekend for play.

Johnston owes thanks to his coach Larry Q aand Jimmy, Tot , Lee and Brent Powers as well.
