Yankees vs Rockies

The Yankees came up 1 run short against their rivals the Rockies 2-1.  

Cameron Rogerson got the win for the Rockies and pitched the complete 7 inning game
striking out 14 and giving up 1  run on 6 hits.  

Leading hitters for the Rockies were Rogerson and Jake VanDam.  

The Yankees Aaron Jackson got the start on the hill and the loss in a tight game. Jackson 
had 4 strike-outs giving up 2 runs on 2 hits .   

Colby Warren came in the 4th to pitch giving up no hits striking out 6 batters in 3 innings.  

Joshua Elias finished the game pitching the top half of the 7th striking out 1 and walking 1 
ending the inning on a double play.  

Yankees top hitters were Jackson with 2 singles and a run.  Rob Poythress and Warren doubled, 
Eric Hockaday and    Elias singled, and Carson Neal sacrificed to score Jackson.  

Yankees next game is next Tuesday night 6 pm against the Cardinals.
