Yankees drop big game to the Braves.

Yankee's lost to the Braves 10-6 Monday night in senior league play. 

Aaron Jackson got the start pitching for the Yankees giving up 3 runs on 1 hit 2 walks and 1 strikeout.  Jackson's 2 runs of the 3 were unearned due to costly errors made by the defense.  Colby Warren came in relief in the 3 rd giving up 1 run on 1 hit and 2 strikeouts, Joshua Elias finished up the game with 5 unearned and 1 earned run on 3 hits 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. 

Leading the way on offense  were Rob Poythress 2-3 tripled and doubled with 5 RBI's.  Warren went 1-2 scoring twice.  Carson Neal reached on error and scored.  Elias and Robert Weber drew walks and scored. 

For the Braves Brandon Moody pitched the whole game giving up 6 runs on 3 hits, 5 walks, and 7 strikeouts to pick up the win. 

Braves offense totaled 8 hits,  Hunter Connell 2-2 scoring 3 times, Tommy Bradley 1-2 scoring once, Moody 1-3 with 2 runs, Cameron Salomon 2-3 in the park HR , Caleb Johnson 1-2 and

 

Braxton Roberson 1-2 with an in the park homerun.  Yankees next game is Thursday 8pm against the first place Rockies.
