Roanoke Valley drops two games on opening day.

The Roanoke Valley U8 All-stars traveled to Elizabeth City Monday for the Little League District 4 tournament.

The Roanoke Valley girls faced Edenton Chowan  in their first game. Edenton finished the game on top 17-2 in 4 innings, thus pushing Roanoke Valley to the loser bracket.

The Roanoke Valley girls had to turn right around and play again, this time Elcipaca. Roanoke Valley just came up short, losing   13-12 and ending their season.
