The Under 15 Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association All-stars will traveled to Pembroke

for the Babe Ruth North Carolina Eastern Division State Tournament Saturday.

On the mound for Roanoke Rapids was Colby Warren pitching 5 1/3 innings allowing 5 hits,

5 runs 3 walks and 9 strike-outs, Josh Elias pitched 1 2/3 innings allowing no hits, no runs,

2 walks and 1 strike-outs.

At the plate for the Roanoke Rapids U15 All-stars: Bracey Irby went 2 for 2 with 1 RBI, 

Colby Warren went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's, Frankie Griffin went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI, Tommy

Bradley went 2 for 3, Josh Elias went 1 for 3, Marcus Allen went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI and

Hunter Connell Sacrifice hit with 1 RBI

The Jackets All-star team beat Warren County 8-5 Saturday afternoon to advance.

The Roanoke Rapids team will face Nash County Sunday at 1 PM.
