Championship game. 

The Under 15 Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association All-stars traveled to Pembroke 

for the Babe Ruth North Carolina Eastern Division State Tournament this past weekend.

The Roanoke Rapids U15 Yellow Jackets All-stars beat Nash County 4-3 Sunday to advance

to the American League Division Championship game Monday night at 5:30 PM.

On the mound for Roanoke Rapids was Cameron Rogerson pitching 4 innings allowing 4 hits,

2 runs 2 walks and 5 strike-outs, Brandon Moody pitched 2 innings allowing 1 hit, 1 run, 2 walks

and 1 strike-out and Colby Warren closed the game pitching 1 inning allowing 1 hit, no runs,

no walks and no strike-outs.

At the plate for the Jackets: Cameron Rogerson went 3 for 4, Marcus Allen went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's,

Colby Warren went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI.

The winner of Monday's American League Championship will then take on the National League

Championship winners for a best two out of three games for the Babe Ruth North Carolina Eastern

Division Champions.
