RR U15 All-stars headed to

ENC State Championship.

The Under 15 Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association All-stars traveled

to Pembroke for the Babe Ruth North Carolina Eastern Division State Tournament.

The Roanoke Rapids Under 15 Yellow Jackets All-stars had to wait an extra day and

even play an extra game, but came away American League division champions and

are headed to the Babe Ruth Eastern NC State Championship game Wednesday.

Roanoke Rapids lost it's first tournament game to Pitt County 19-13 and turned right

around and play them again, This time the Jackets came out on top, beating Pitt 6-2.

The Yellow Jackets as American League Champions will take on the National League

Championship winners for a best two out of three games for the Babe Ruth North Carolina

Eastern Division Champions.
