Halifax Academy volleyball JV and Varsity opened the 2014 
season on the road to 2A Parrott Academy Monday afternoon.

The outcome wasn't what the lady Vikings were hoping for, 
JV lost in two sets 11-25 and 18-25. Varsity also came up 
short in three sets 21-25, 22-25 and 20-25.

Halifax travels across town Wednesday August 20th to face 
Roanoke Rapids in their season opener with JV starting at 
4 PM and Varsity to follow approx. 5:15 PM.
