RRHS Cross Country on road.

On Tuesday August 26th the Roanoke Rapids Cross Country 
team ran its first conference meet of the season at South 
Granville.  There were seven total team who ran in the meet.

The RRHS Men's team finished 3rd overall in team points.  
The finishing times for the RRHS Men were:

The RRHS Women's team finished 5th overall in team points.  
The finishing times for the RRHS Women were:

5.  Erica Whitmire 33:25
6.  Laura Brown 33:40

"I am really proud of both teams today.  Everyone ran well 
and almost every runner on both teams dropped time from 
last week's meet.  I am happy with the improvement," said 
head coach Mark Snead

The next Cross Country meet for RRHS will be another 
conference meet at Bunn next Tuesday September 2nd.
