KIPP 22 @ Weldon 44
Weldon used a strong running game and several KIPP 
miscues to pull away in the second half this past
Thursday night in Weldon. 

Kipp trailed 30-22 at the half, but took the second half
kickoff past midfield on a drive that ended with a fumble. 
Weldon quickly took advantage and scored to bring their
advantage to 36-22, and scored again in the fourth
quarter on a long pass play to give their final advantage. 
Larry Cotton rushed for 129 yards and Darius Bobbit
added 61 for Kipp. 
Defensive stand outs were Semaji Cole with eight tackles,
Kirby Underdue with seven and Antonio Davis also with
seven.  Rakel Holt intercepted a pass and returned it
28 yards.
Kipp falls to 2-7 for the season and hosts Granville
Central Friday.
