Go JoJo Gadget

Team NC is a group of 20 female skaters who will be competing

in the State Wars Roller Derby Tournament on November 21st -

22nd, 2014 in Florida. 

As voted by their peers of “Team North Carolina”, both

Slingin' Gritz and JoJo Gadget have been named team captians.

JoJo Gadget is Roanoke Rapids native JoAnna Davis and

is a memebr of the roller derby team Carolina Rollergirls. 

The Carolina Rollergirls are the original Women’s Flat

Track Derby Association (WFTDA) league of Raleigh,

NC. Founded in January 2004, it has been our mission

to bring an alternative sport to Raleigh while training

for national roller derby competition. 

The league operates as a non-profit 501c3 organization

and is run for the skaters, by the skaters, with the

support of numerous sponsors and volunteers. 

The Carolina Rollergirls are smart, strong and amazing

women who work tirelessly to build and be a part of a

successful league and roller derby community.
