The varsity football play-offs were played at Gaston Middle this past Saturday.

Roanoke Rapids Hornets beat Gaston Buckeyes 42-6.

Roanoke Rapids Yellow jackets beat Rich Square Panthers 26-0.

A dominating performance by the Jacket offense allowed Curtis Hunter to score 2 touchdowns and a conversion, Bennett Liverman and Tyrell Broady added another touchdown each.  A swarming Jackets defense pitched there 3rd shutout of the year. Bennett Liverman and TJ High each had an Interception. 

Davie Vikings beat Weldon Chargers 26-0.

Garysburg Bulldawgs beat GCP 34-0.

Garysburg Offense- Shaheed Moore 98 yard touchdown, 60 yard touchdown-2 rushes for 158 yds., Semarjah Davis 46 yard touchdown , 20 yard touchdown, Kwami Pitts 64 yard touchdown run, Cemonye Scott two 2pt conversions.

Garysburg Defense- Cemonye Scott 11 tackles, Charles Avent 10 tackles, Xavier Kearney and Devontre Bradley 5 tackles each.

Semi-final rounds will be played Tuesday November 11th at 6:30 PM.

Roanoke Rapids Hornets will host Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets at RRHS Hoyle Field.

Garysburg Bulldawgs will host Davie Vikings at Gaston Middle.
