JV Basketball action on the road

Halifax Academy JV opened their 2014-15 season on the road Wednesday night at Kenston Forest School in Blackstone VA.

The JV boys won their season opener beating Keston Forest 33-31.

Leading scorers for Halifax (1-0) were:  Will Cooke with 10 points, Garrett Smith with 9 points and Larry West with 5 points.

The JV Girls fell in their season opener losing to Kenston Forest 20-36.

Leading scorers for Halifax (0-1) were:  Sydney Smith with 9 points, Emerson Poole with 5 points, Kate Hawkins with 4 points and Maddie Suiter with 4 points.
