Halifax varsity basketball

The Halifax Academy varsity basketball teams traveled to New Bern Friday and walked away with a split win.

The Varsity girls earned the win while the varsity boys took the loss.

The girls beat Epiphany 69-8.

Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Kelly Williams with 32 points, Kim Shearin with 18 points, Brooke Robertson and Candice Smith had 6 points each.

The boys lost to Epiphany 36-68.

Leading scorers for Halifax were: Garrett Morris with 25 points, Cody Oakley with 5 points and Jackson Harris also with 5 points.
