Northwest Halifax / Roanoke Rapids split

Northwest Halifax JV boys edged out Roanoke Rapids Wednesday at Northwest beating them 48-46.

Leading scorers for Northwest were:  Joshua Hawkins with 18 points and Joseph Richardson with 12 points.

Leading scorers for Roanoke Rapids were:  James Mallory with 12 points, Dre Terry with 10 points and Quincy Vann with 8 points.

Northwest Halifax varsity girls beat Roanoke Rapids 59-49.

leading scorers for Northwest were:  Lanayjha Ashe with 39 points and Keona Nicholson with 8 points.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were Brooke McClenny had 14 points while Alizea Neville and Haley Farrow both had 11 points each.

Roanoke Rapids varsity boys beat Northwest Halifax 61-32.
