JB boys lose, both varsity win on road

Weldon JV boys fell 54-55 to Granville Central Tuesday night.

Weldon varsity girls beat Granville Central 50-37.

Leading scorers for Weldon were:  Tahlia Boone with 18 points, Tanija Wills with 14 points, Diamond Yancey with 5 points, Alexis Ingram and Calesha Boyd had 4 points each.

Weldon varsity boys beat Granville Central 72-52.

Leading scorers for Weldon were:  Malik Peebles with 20 points, Jamal MeGee with 13 points and Koran Clements with 11 points.
