Lights turned on in Gaston

Gaston Recreation Director Tracy Story and Community Softball League (CSL) President turned the lights on to remember a coach and friend.  KIPP High head softball coach Mike Newsome was remembered by the Town of Gaston, the CSL and friends Friday night on the same fields KIPP's softball team calls their home field. Newsome who passed early Friday morning. Newsome was keeping score most nights for the CSL first season and an important asset to the league.
