Spends some time at Newsome fields to remember Coach

Several friends and former players have came together and planned a candle light vigil in honor of Mr. Mike (Coach Mike Newsome). Also several thought that it would be a good idea to play together one more time in his honor! So any girl who played under him or been part of their life, please bring your gloves and we will play a few innings for him! This will be a great tribute to remember an amazing man who touched the lives of all of us. Spread the word and come honor Coach Newsome for all that he has done for our community and for us. He will forever live in our hearts!

The event will take place Sunday January 25, 2015 at Chockeyotte Park @ Newsome fields @ 5:30 PM with a few speakers and time for anyone to speak. Please bring your own candles, we will have a few. The girls will be spit into teams and a couple innings on both fields will be played in his honor. You know he will be watching and seeing if you are using the skills he taught you over the years.

There are t-shirts being sold as well to show you honor to coach. The screen-printing labor and ink is being donated by Troy Smith of TD Sports in Rich Square and the proceeds will go to Mrs. Newsome.
