Local volleyball player part of Silver medal team in Mrytle Beach tournament

Halifax Academy sophomore Drew Rose is part of the Greenville based U17 travel volleyball team Coastal Plains Volleyball Club 17 Green.

The team traveled this past weekend to Myrtle Beach SC to compete in the 2015 Winter Bump Myrtle Beach with teams from North and South Carolina to compete the 17-19th.

Their team went 2-1 Saturday, 1-2 on Sunday and 2-1 Monday. Their defeat on Monday was their age championship match and recieved the Silver medal for the tournament runner-up position.
