Cornerstone Christian basketball teams split Friday

The Cornerstone varsity girls fell short losing to Heritage Christian 24-36.

Leading scorers for Cornerstone were: Hana Brown with 13 points, Casie Crawley with 5 points, Jade Roberts, Isabel Piscusa & Ivey Gilliam with 2 points each.

The Cornerstone varsity boys hold onto 1st place in the conference by beating Heritage Christian 54-44.

Leading scorers for Cornerstone were: Hunter Hendricks with 12 points, Billy Dickerson with 11 points, Steven Reese with 10 points, Ben Sloan & Nathan Walker with 9 points each and Wesley Eatmon with 2 points.
