Halifax Academy on the road this past weekend

Friday Halifax Academy traveled to Henderson to play Crossroads Christian and fans were treated to the National Anthem sung by Nashville recording artis Jason Michael Carroll.

Halifax Academy JV boys lost 40-54.

Leading scorers for Halifax were: Will Cooke with 11 points, Garrett Smith with 10 points and Jaarrett Smith with 10 points.

Halifax Academy varsity girls won 55-41.

Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Kelly Williams with 24 points, Kim Shearin with 14 points, Drew Rose with 8 points, Candice Smith with 5 points and Brooke Robertson with 4 points.

Halifax Academy varsity boys lost 49-68

Leading scorers for Halifax were: Garrett Morris with 25 points, Jackson Harris with 13 points, Jacob Smith with 9 points and Matthew Wray with 2 points.

Saturday afternoon, Halifax Academy traveled to Rocky Mount to play Faith Christian.

Halifax Academy JV girls lost 12-25.

Leading scorers for Halifax were: Emerson Poole with 6 points, Maddie Suiter with 4 points and Kate Hawkins with 2 points.

Halifax Acadmey JV boys lost 32-51.

Leading scorers for Halifax were: Kal Liles with 7 points, Ryan Crawley with 6 points, Eric Williams with 6 points.

Halifax Academy varsity girls won 58-26.
