Roanoke Rapids varsity boys gave it their all, but closed the season with a loss at the "HIVE" Friday night.

Roanoke Rapids varsity boys lost to Durham School of Arts 72-63. It was a 3 point game with just over a minute to play and DSA made free throws down the stretch and the Jackets could make a basket.

Leading scorers for Roanoke Rapids were: Marcus Jones with 15 points, DeJaun Walker with 14 points, Cameron Yarboro & DJ Jones with 13 points each. 

Head coach Tyler Snyder comments after the game, "Wish we could have won the last one for the Seniors. They are a great group of individuals that made my varsity coaching debut one that I am thankful for."
