KIPP girls win final conference game after adversity

KIPP girls had clinched the TRAC regular season spot Wednesday night, but a claim was made that they had an ineligible player after playing all season. Though no official word has come to rrspin.com from the NCHSAA concerning this matter, the TRAC standings had KIPP in last place with 9 losses and one win,

That win came Friday night, on KIPP's Senior night, when KIPP without the alleged player romped Southeast Halifax 56-27.

It appears KIPP varsity girls will have to win the TRAC tournament to make the NCHSAA 1A State playoffs, so eyes will be on the weather to see if the games are played or canceled and knocking KIPP out. Will be sure to let you know who makes the official call to cancel tournament if canceled.

Southeast varsity boys beat KIPP 59-36 Friday night.
