NCHSAA 1A State basketball play-off Friday night

The 2014-15 Men's Weldon High Chargers basketball team's season ended short of the State championship, but still on a high note.

The Charger team made it to the elite eight I Fayetteville Friday night but came up short falling to East Carteret 62-78. Coach Donnell Handsome and every member of the team should be proud of what they have proven this season. A 23-3 record and a trip to the Regional play-offs.
