Halifax Academy Softball open their 2015 season on the road Tuesday

The Halifax Lady Vikings traveled to Rocky Mount Academy Tuesday and picked up the win 7-6.

Candice Smith pitched 7 innings for Halifax striking out 7 batters, walking one and allowing only 3 hits.

At the plate for Halifax, Candice Smith had a single while Drew Rose and Sydney Smith each had a double.

Halifax Academy is scheduled to play at Lawrence Academy Wednesday March 11th at 5 PM.
