Halifax Academy Lady Vikings still perfect in conference & overall play

The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings traveled to face a very strong Oakwood team Monday afternoon. Though Whitney George scored the games only goal, head coach Tim George stated, "Our defense won the game for us today. Emilie Alston, Megan Kessinger, Brittany Milan, Kate Starnes and Anna Garrett's tenacious defense along with Shay Edwards & Maddie Suiter controlling the middle field showed with Oakwood not scoring."

Whitney George's goal was assisted by Morgan Branham was enough to keep the Vikings record perfect with a 8-0 overall and 4-0 conference record.

Halifax host a conference game against Crossroads Christian Tuesday afternoon @ 5 PM at Halifax soccer field.
