The Varsity Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jacket softball team earned a win at home Tuesday night

The Lady Jackets hosted Franklinton Rams to a 1-0 win.

Hunter Martin pitched the entire 7 innings on the mound earning the win, allowing no runs, 3 hits, no walks and 9 strike-outs.

At the plate for the Jackets Hunter Martin, Brooke McClenney & Jordan Carpenter each had a single while Brianna Allen had a double.

The Jackets improve to 4-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Roanoke Rapids will travel to NCSSM Thursday for a 4 PM game.
