Mondays games were a washout, so Tuesday night was opening season night for the RVGSL girls recreation softball.

Under 10 league

USW defeated New Republic 2-1.

Meredith Wilson had 8 k's and Natalie Reda has 7. Run was scored by Jacie Vaughan who reached base after being hit by a pitch. Janiya Odom singled to score Vaughan then scored on a single by Wilson.  hitters - Janiya Odom , Meredith Wilson

New Republic's run was scored by Lauren Garner off her single that was followed by a single from Logan Storey. Storey pitched 3 innings and had 9 k's. Garner pitched 2 innings with 4k's. hitters - Lauren Garner , Logan Storey, Chloe Jones, Alayna Acree.

Enviva defeated West Fraser 9-0

The bats came alive for Enviva for nine hits scoring 9 runs, while Enviva held West Fraser to 1 hit and no runs.

Under 12 league

CCB defeated Kidd's frames 7-3

Kidd's frames Lizzy Colston pitched 3 innings and had 5 strikeouts. Seanna Cavnar pitched 1 inning. Lizzy Colston had a double and Meghan Beam had a single.

CCB, Lilly Curtis pitched 3 innings and had 8 strikeouts. Taylor Kelly pitched 1 inning and had 1 strikeout

Cotton Gin defeated Buck Lucas 7-5

Cotton Gin, Cassidy Dickens pitched 2 innings with 5 strike-outs, Brooke Lassiter pitched 2 inning with 3 strike-outs. Cassidy Dickens had single & Double, Brooke Lassiter had a triple, double & a single,Kayla Poythress, Kaitlin Wesley & Cierra Thompson each had a single.
