The Lady Yellow Jackets sting Wildcats on coaches birthday.

The Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets softball team traveled to conference rivals Bunn Wildcats Friday evening.

The Ladies came to play ball on head coach Steve Milligans birthday. The Jackets won the game 4-2 and sit in third place in the 2A NCC.

Sierra Hearp pitched the 7 innings for the Jackets allowing 2 hits, 2 runs and had 7 strike-outs.

The Jackets had six hits at the plate, including Senior Brianna Allen & Junior Sierra Hearp over the fence home-runs. Jordan Carpenter had 2 hits along with one hit from Hunter Martin & Breanna Allen.

The Jackets will host conference leader South Granville at home Tuesday April 28th at 6 PM
