Friday May 5th
The Durham Bulls (Big Time Pawn) defeated the Knights in a very well played game. Peyton Jackson led the offense for the Bulls with 3 hits (2 doubles and 3 RBI’s). Carson Neal had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. Cameron Wilson had 2 hits (one a double.) Aaron Purser, Dillon Jenkins, and Noah Lassiter all added singles in the game. Carson Neal pitched 4 strong innings and only gave up 3 hits. Cameron Medlin came in and finished the game for the Bulls given up only one run. The final score was the Bulls 7 and the Knights 2. Rob Poythress had 2 triples to lead the Knights. Matt Williams had a RBI single.
Monday June 8th
The Durham Bulls (Big Time Pawn) remain unbeaten after a very close hard fought game with the Redwings (Bulls 10- Red Wings 7.) The Red Wings got off to a good start by scoring the runs in the first inning. The Bulls came right back to score 6 straight runs. The Red Wings scored 4 runs in the 4th inning to tie the ballgame at 7-7. The Bulls scored 3 runs in the 4th to and were able to hold on for the win. Carson Neal pitched 3 hitless innings, but he walked 5 batters and gave up 3 unearned runs. Spencer Simonowich came in to pitched the fourth inning. He gave up 3 hits and due to several errors by the Bulls, the Redwings got 3 runs. Colby Warren came in to seal the deal. Warren faced 3 batters and struck out the side. Carson had 2 hits and a RBI. Cameron Medlin had 2 hits and 3 RBI’s. Noah Lassiter and Christian Thompson each had a 2 run single. Colby Warren and Romelo Sexton each had a single and a RBI. Dillon Jenkins added a single in the game. Cameron Salmon led the Red Wings by a good pitching performance.
Wednesday June 10th
The Durham Bulls (Big Time Pawn) remain undefeated after beating the Bees 15 to nothing. Peyton Jackson pitched 3 innings for the Bulls striking out two and giving up one hot. Cameron Medlin came to pitch the last inning and retire all 3 batters that he faced. Carson Neal led the offense for the Bulls with 3 hits. Colby Warren and Noah Lassiter had two hits a piece (Lassiter had a triple). Cameron Medlin had a big 3 run double. Peyton Jackson, Spencer Simonowich, and Cameron Wilson each added a hit for the Bulls. The Bulls are now 10-0. There next game is at 6:00 at Doyle Field against the River Cats.
