21 year old Roanoke Rapids resident William Odom placed 2nd in Forms this past Friday July 2, 15 at the AAU National Taekwondo Event in Ft Lauderdale Fl.

"I am a National AAU Champion. Odom, who is a Master 4th Degree Black Belt at Carolina Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts in New Bern, NC," Odom said in a statement. "I would like to say thank you to Grand Master Cann, Hama, Carolina Taekwondo, Master Jenean Worthington and I would like to express my appreciation for the generosity from my Parents Henry & MeLinda Odom and the Roanoke Valley," Odom added.
