The Young Elite Ballers (YEB) a local 10th grade travel basketball team run in the USBA National Division championship in Atlanta comes to an end.

The YEB team finished pool games with a 3-1 record and earned the #2 seed for the winners Championship bracket, but the Franklin County Bulls NC team knocked them out of the bracket Friday winning 78-59. Still YEB head home with a 3-2 overall record and played teams from Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina and North Carolina.

YEB is made up of players from Weldon (Dunston,Garrett & Barnes), Southeast Halifax (Blackmon, Hendricks, Brinkley, Crowell, Norfleet & Whitaker) & Tarboro Prep (Clark & Pittman) and are coached by William Watson & Shannon Pendergrass.
