Wheeler & Verrill played football as Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jacket teammates back in 2013, but have a chance face off against each other this year.
Will Wheeler, a 2015 graduate plays for the Wesleyan Bishops and Jerry Verrill, a 2014 graduate plays for the Louisburg Hurricanes. This past Saturday the two teams scrimmaged, but Wheeler did not dress for the game. The two teams will face off in regular season September 20th at 2PM in Rocky Mount.
