The Roanoke Rapids High School Cross Country Teams traveled to Durham on Tuesday for a Northern Carolina Conference Meet. 

With 7 of the 8 teams present, this was a big meet for the Yellow Jackets.  Both teams had strong finishes with the Women's team placing 3rd and the Men's team placing 4th.

Head coach Mark Snead stated, "We had a great meet today.  Almost every runner had a season best time and we had several veteran runners post person best times today.  The runners have worked really hard since our last meet and it paid off today.  I am really proud of everyone of them today." 

The next meet for the Yellow Jackets will be a Conference meet at home on September 8 at 5 PM.
