Emporia VA based TopHand Reds U14 travel baseball team with several Roanoke Valley players earned a championship this past weekend at the "Southside Baseball Week 2 Even Ages" tournament in Matoaca Virginia.

The TopHand team went undefeated for the weekend. They beat Huguenot Huskies Red 16-0 in game one, then beat Camo Crushers Orange 20-2 in game two. In game three TopHand the Championship game, they beat the Rebels 6-5.

Elliott Cross hit a three run over the fence home-run in the top of the six to give TopHand the lead and hold of the Rebels for the Championship win.
