Roanoke Rapids resident Lee Powers and his Resmondo Specialty Tank Worth Men's Major Slow Pitch Softball teammates won the 2015 World Series this past Saturday.

The Resmondo team went undefeated in the double elimination bracket winning all five games. In the Championship 30-37 win over Smash It Sports, Powers had a off the bench home-run & his third  to first base throw made the last out of the game.

Powers played in two of the five games earning three home-runs, three runs, four RBI's and one walk while earning a .800 series batting average.

Powers has been playing professional men's slow pitch softball since 2002.
