Nine year old fourth grader Molly Ward just started gymnastics two months ago on August 1, 2015 at Tri County Arts/ Universal Elite Gymnastics in Rocky Mount under Mrs. June Fenton.

Ward competed in her very first "Fun Meet" on October 11 at Tri County Arts/ Universal Elite Gymnastics in Rocky Mount. Fun Meets are to help prepare the gymnast for actual competitions it gives them the same experience and is also judged.

Ward earned four awards and received an overall award as well .Ward won 1st place on her floor routine, 1st place on her bar routine, 3rd place on her beam routine and a 3rd place on vault. She then was awarded 2nd overall for her level.

Ward is the daughter of Steven & Elizabeth Ward of Roanoke Rapids.
