The Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets volleyball team hosted NC School of Science & Math Thursday evening.

On the night to honor their seniors took a turn for better when the Lady Jackets took the match to 5th set and earned the match win.

Roanoke Rapids fell in the first set 19-27 and rebounded in second set to win 27-25. Then fell short again in the third set falling 19-25 and evened it back up winning the fourth set 27-25 sending the match to the fifth set. Roanoke Rapids captured the fifth set 16-14.

The 2016 senior pictured above recognized were: Kaitie Smith, Jamie Conner, Jasmine Tanner, Lauren Barrett and Emilee Allen.
