Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets beat Roanoke Rapids Hornets 14 - 6. 

In a tough fought game the RR Yellow Jackets went ahead 14 - 6 on a beautiful run by Wayne Wilkins in the second half despite a strong defensive effort by the Hornets.

The Hornets score came from Jamari Edwards and their defensive players of the game were Hudson Medlin, Caleb Slaughter, Matthew MacNichol and Caleb Elias.

The other score for the Jackets came from tough running by fullback Colin Clements.

The Jackets continued tough defensive play with a total team effort.
