A team formed from the Northampton and Halifax County Sheriff’s Offices teamed up for a Battle of Badges basketball Tournament in Murfreesboro.
The Northampton-Halifax team beat the Hertford-Bertie team 64-53 in the Championship game winning the 2015 "Breast Cancer Madness" Basketball Tournament event at Hertford County Middle school.
