Gaston College Prep (GCP) Pride basketball teams hosted Wilson Prep Academy Thursday at "The Brink"

Girls

Honoring her recently deceased coach Emmanuel Boone,  KK Squire scored 26 points as GCP takes down Wilson Prep Academy 32-10. Tamar Jeter added 4 points as GCP moves to 1-0 on the season.

Boys

The GCP boys found a much tougher challenge in the Wilson Prep Academy boys team. In a see-saw battle GCP had a strong 2nd half effort to defeat WPA 37-26.
