The 4-0 boys JV Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets basketball team traveled to Gaston to battle the 7-0 KIPP team Thursday night.

The game lived up to a game of two undefeated team. Roanoke Rapids jumped off to the lead and appeared to be walking away with the win. With 5 minutes remaining in the game, KIPP worked their way back to only nine points down, but not enough gas to get any closer. Roanoke Rapids beat KIPP 79-62. Roanoke Rapids improved to 5-0 while KIPP dropped to 7-1.
