The Roanoke Rapids boys basketball team drop a game on the road Friday night at DSA.

The Yellow Jackets lost to the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs 62-59.

Leading scorers for the Yellow Jackets were:

Tyraybiya Kearney With 16 points

Ronnie Carmichael with 11 points

Head Coach Tyler Snyder comments after the game, "We started the second half slow and got out scored 20-10 in the 3rd quarter. With that being said, we played outstanding basketball the final six and a half minutes of the game. I'm looking for us to carry that into the Christmas Tournament in Gaston where we play Weldon on December 26 at 7 at Gaston Middle."
