Halifax Academy traveled to Brunswick Academy Monday and Tuesday for the 2016 "Battle of the Borders".

The Halifax Academy varsity girls basketball team beat Brunswick Academy Monday and rebounded Tuesday with a win over Southampton Academy to be named the 2015 girls Battle of the Border champions.

Kelly Williams won the event MVP while Kim Shearin was named to the All Battle of the Borders team.

The Halifax Academy varsity boys basketball team lost to Brunswick Academy Monday and again Tuesday to Southampton Academy.

Jackson Harris and Grant Morris was named to the All Battle of the Borders team.
