The Roanoke Valley lost part of it's Sports community in 2015.

The 67 year old long time coach Mike Newsome passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015.

The 71 year old Lifetime Optimist Club member and coach Milton Harris passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015.

The 40 year old coach Chad Geary passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015.

The 47 year old coach Emmanuel E. Boone, Jr. passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

All four coaches touched so many youth in the Roanoke Valley and taught them more than just a game, but about lessons of life.  

Four great coaches gone but not forgotten, their memory lives on in our Heart.
