Halifax Academy JV basketball teams hosted Kerr Vance Academy Friday afternoon.

The Halifax JV girls beat Kerr Vance 30-20.

Halifax leading scorers were: Emerson Poole with 15 points, Ashton Garner with 8 points, Ashlynn Liles with 3 points, Kayla Gaertner with 2 points and Lizbeth Dickens with 2 points.

The Halifax JV boys played a long a hard fought game but came up short, falling to Kerr Vance 72-56.

Halifax leading scorers were: Ryan Crawley with 24 points, Harrison Hardee with 15 points, Thomas Garrett with 6 points, Jesse Rose with 5 points, Evan Dail with 3 points, Luke Keeter with 2 points and Eli Harris with 1 point.
