The Roanoke Rapids wrestling team lost to Franklinton Friday night 60-15.

The Yellow Jackets had three wrestlers win their weight classes:

170 Jake Rooker dec. Micheal Rogers 9-6

220 Matthew Norton won by forfeit

285 Alvin Johnson won by forfeit.

Head coach DA White post match comments, "We just did not wrestle well. I just don't think our kids showed up to wrestle. They didn't use any moves or holds that were shown in practice."

The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets wrestlers are headed to wrestle in "The Belt Tournament " at South Granville Saturday morning (today).
